Threaded steel bars for prestressed concrete (often referred to as "precision-rolled threaded bars") are large-diameter, high-strength, and high-precision straight bars featuring discontinuous external threads rolled along their entire length. These bars allow for connections via internally threaded couplers or anchoring via threaded nuts at any point along the bar. They offer advantages such as convenient connection and anchoring, safe and reliable tensioning, simplified construction, and a reduction in structural cross-sectional area and weight.
